Oil based mud cuttings was spread over an open area for proper disposal.
Treatment of the contaminant has been done in situ. Mixing and tilling were carried out as scheduled.The total percentage
of hydrocarbons in the sludge was 5% before starting the process.

The mixed sludge was remediated within 6 months.
Achievement:
The total percentage of hydro-carbons was brought down to less than 1%.
